Web safe color help
I am in trouble choosing a great color combination for my upcoming website. I cant find a combination of my choice. I expect to use #993300 or any REDish shade but the combinations are either blurry or not very comfortable. Any idea/suggestions ?
Thanks |

First suggestion would be to post in a web design / webmaster forum like http://forums.devshed.com
Second suggestion would be to try your colour on different screens. LCD & CRT can look quite different depending on colour depth. Third would be that web safe colours are going out with the arc due to much better monitors and colour depth nowadays. If it looks good - use it! I have done work for several companies that have a corporate brand info pack and exact specifications on colours and then completely ignore them for the web! Like I siad, what ever looks good!
