SEO position tool wrong?
I use the SEOBOOK position in search to keep an eye on keyword placement in the SERPS. My issue is that the tool works great for google but it is way off or broken for yahoo. For example the tool says i rank 3rd for a keyword on Yahoo but when i try to look it up in a search manually i cant find it. Anyone know why that may be?

Bouncing off a different server than the tool you're using could easily cause the issue. Almost any rankings tool will have discrepancies - there's not really a way to get around it, even with personalization turned off.

Especially (especially) if you are in a different location than your clients are (just hope theirs look better than yours ).

Another note about Yahoo - the difference could also be whether or not the server in question is using Bing results yet - I'm not sure if Canada has been updated, but I know the US has.
