IBP is a product from axandra.com and has several usefull functions, I will probably renew mine again next year. The level SEO is at today it is impossible to accurately track changes in algorythms without some kind of help. I find these tools usefull in that way. BUT in no way is there an SEO tool that can do SEO for you!

Tools are nice, but when it comes to link exchanges - to be frank technology went far beyond spamming an email to webmasters (even with all email customizable templates that they give).
But no wonder. These tools tried to embrace all SEO, and could not focus on all aspects to squeeze 300% from them. I know Brad Callen (SEO Elite) from another community where we are both members, and he has good brain on SEO. But I can bet a lot more can be done with link building in comparison to what is done in SEO Elite. If it is for you just about link exchange, PM me - I'll give you some free info to open your link exchange chakras. I am 99% you've been passing by this potential daily and never thought of using it. And it's about much bigger link conversions than with sending the beggy email asking to post a link. Average link building conversions are 60-70%, latest experience with prostate niche site 80%. |

Yah, SEO Elite is excellent software very handy to use for analysing other site's linking strategies. The problem however is that it is very limited in what it can analyse, but so is all tools in the SEO industry...

I wrote a few reviews on it here:
http://www.1stsearchenginerankings.com/seo-elite-reviews Seo Elite is the only seo software I use(aside from keyword research tools) - If it was paid monthly or as updated I probably wouldn't have bought it or continue to use it. If that was the case I would have created my own and offer it as Brad offers his: free after first payment. It is good for a quick analysis of a website/competitor and their linking structure (just be sure to use msn and yahoo links and not google) I've heard great success stories from using the link exchange emailer but honestly I haven't seen any fruit from it. I actually do very poorly at link exchanging, that is until I rank a site where I want it and then everyone wants to exchange links When link exchanging always do it manually. I have never seen automated software work. So if that is your reason for buying it then you probably shouldn't. It does have a handy tool that checks to make sure your link partners are still linking back. Doesn't work so well with directories (btw I would never exchange links with a directory) You can also check where your site is ranked on Google, Msn and yahoo. It shows a graph and the change from day-to-day for your rankings. I prefer googlerankings.com as it is online, uses my api and is easy to access so don't usually use this but if I wasn't so attached to googlerankings I might use it. You can use a feature which allows you to find "authority" sites on the web. I guess he is assuming to get links from. For certain industries this works well but with some major sites like Adobe come up and there is no way in the world they are going to link to you based on a request. It works better if you use msn or yahoo as the search. I have done pretty well doing msn for sites to exchange links with. I don't do much of that but if I find a quality site I will exchange. BTW this isn't because Google doesn't have quality sites. It is because their sites are too quality It also now has a feature to submit article directories. I have not personally used this so can't give feedback on that however I also wouldn't use a automated software to submit articles. If you do and need this I think probably Brads would be as good as any other automated article submitter. Having said all that I use Seo Elite and usually have it open most of the day. I use the link structure tool the most. But even with Seo Elites faults it is much better IMHO then IBP. IBP has some major compatibility issues and other issues I don't like. That is one thing about Seo Elite. If there is a bug he fixes it fast. I have never had a problem using it. It is fairly cheap so I would buy it if you can afford it. But I do think a tool like keyworddiscovery is worth more to you than Seo Elite. I couldn't do with out KD. I also got a review on that somewhere

I love to see the previous poster "Visio" review and experience on how to use SEO Elite.
I just read the following review website about the most popular search engine submission & optimization software: email-remover.com/sharewarist/index.htm I think they should add Visio's reviews into it. Visio's review on SEO Elite is the best one I've ever seen. I will send it to email-remover.com 's author Victor and suggest him to add. Thank you to Visio for posting the useful information. |
