Ranking check tools

I use GoogleRankings.com alot but notice conflicting results, I'll try a keyword, get results and then try the same word 10 minutes later and get totally different numbers.

Has been like this for the past week. Can anyone recommend a good replacement tool that might be more consistant?

Thanks!

If tools not giving accurate result you can check ranking of keywords manually. I prefer manual checking. if you see fluctuation of 1-2 ranking you should not be worry about it.

Download a trial version of IBP (Internet Business Promoter) here:

http://www.ibusinesspromoter.com/download/index.htm

Go to the Serach Engine Ranking checker, it's always been accurate for me.

Thank you! Do you think it would be worthwhile to buy the full version? Is the trial version limited for checking rankings?

Probably caused by changing data centers. Anyways, perhaps A1 Keyword Research will solve your problems.

Most the tools that I have seen are somewhat accurate. I use this as a base to get a feel to how my site is doing. i like seoserp because it shows up to 1000 results

The reports generated by tools are not totally correct, for this reason,I always prefer to check the ranking manually.
When we have super tool (our brains),why should we use others.

I am also facing the same problem & after analyzing it i found that it is better to go for manually rather then any tool.Because tool does not give accurate results.

I use this tool to do my ranking and find it very usefull, it can compare ranking from previous weeks over multiple search engines so you can keep an accurate record of your serps and best of all its FREE. I also find it better than IBP because you can check multiple search engine at once, which you cant do with IBP.

Finding a accurate ranking tool is more than difficult because every major search engine have mulltiple datacenters and it is very much possible that the rankings at two datacenters are merely different, So when you check ranks with tool and then checking it manually you may find difference because of both time u probabily getting data from different datacenters.

We used to send keyword position reports to our clients at UK in past, but every time our rankings on reports were different to those checked manually by clients(difference of 1 to 3 positions), Luckily every time the rankins at client side (in UK) used to be higher than our side (in INDIA).

But one thing is sure these tools assist in time saving in manual checkings. Go for the SERP page the tool suggesting for a keyword, you probabily get website there with some up or down position.
