Next to useless if you're intending purely to spam forums.
Like (I suspect) a number of posters on here, forums have been valuable for us in bringing us traffic to our site - but only because:
1 They're forums which are highly relevant to our business
2. We're genuine and regular contributors, known to the community.
3. Any link we post is only in answer to a question about that topic, we never blatantly advertise.
I doubt the links have brought us any benefits in SEO terms, but they have brought us customers because of the relevancy.
As a forum poster I pay no regard to anyone who posts merely to advertise and doesn't join in with the community; as a forum owner I get rid of such posters immediately.
Is there any possibly like that, i am also having same doubt.Originally Posted by KirSl
