Most sophisticated SEO tool?
At the moment I am looking for a good SEO tool.
What is in my head is a tool where I can add my site(s) define the keywords etc and the tool gives me an overview about lets say the position of the keyword in the SERPs, number of pages, links, etc. An all round tool which is able to handle very detailed a massive site. I am not very good in explaining such things but maybe somebody knows some tool like that. I dont want to check the backlinks, indexed sites every second day in Google webmaster tools, the position of a certain keywords with another tool and so on. I search for ONE tool which is maybe available in a comapny edition with more than one login and so on... In my head is some tool like Analytics but more focussed on seo.

It looks good but i read this:
"Get top 10 rankings on Google, Yahoo, MSN Search and others. Get more website visitors and increase your revenue. Outperform your competition. " I dont need a tool to help me doing my SEO, I just want to track all the changes concerning one site. The problem is its not a site with 1000 pages where you can check the most important by hand. The site I want to track has almost a quarter million sites indexed (soon more and thats what i want to track as well), far more than a million visitors daily and so on. So it is really big. So I want more or less a tool to analyze and not to do marketing/seo activities. Or is there another possibility to stay up to date for a site like that? Is it maybe better to (let) write an own tool? |

Web CEO may help - but be aware, they have the tendency to charge for extras without which the tool is worthless. |

I was working with WebPosition for a couple of years, its quite good tool, quite expensive, and there is one more problem - Google doesn't recommend to use it in its Webmaster Guidelines. So you should be careful not to over-use it. |

I could recommend WebCEO as one of good all-in-one tool for SEO/SEM. Yes, they have extra charge for processed page quantity, but who has one time fee for this kind of service these days? From your description looks like you are looking for keyword research tool. There are many of them on the market, WordTracker, Overture/Yachoo Search Engine just to mention few. You can chek this tool at http://www.foundpages.com/freetools/keyword/suggestion.do Google Analytics is more like web analytics tool. Other good web analytics tools for big sites are ClickTracks and HitBox (WebSideStory). If you can afford them. Last edited by seoprofs : July 18th, 2007 at 04:15 PM. |
