For Paid campaign Google adword is the best tool but for SEO purpose I like to suggest you to use any paid tool as word tracker, keyword discovery and so on.

I use The Dominator which has 3 clicks and gives full competition and keyword research. Course it is my own product so can not really post a link...

Google keyword tool is not exactly correct, it is correct as far as google wants it to be but it is based on what google wants you to see. Mainly their tool is based around their ads and not actual results.

This is why many never see good results when they rely upon googles keyword tool..

I have used Google adword and word tracker both but i like Google Adword more.I want to share other tools also for your reference. I am using Gostats webcounter for website analysis and iwebtool for backlinks.All these tools are free.
