Question Link Building for SEO

Link building is the key for an effective SEO campaign. This works best for PR and SERP. Always provide useful and relevant content in your websites niche as this will help in quality organic linking - sites will naturally link to your site once they see unique and helpful information in your site. Keep in mind that the more targeted backlinks you build for your site, the more likely it will bring in the right visitors that could make the conversions for better revenue. You do targeted link buidling for fast and long term traffic to your sites.

There are several ways to build links. Here are just some of the following:

Directory Submissions - targeted links at high PR directories
Blog and Forum Postings - to high PR and frequently crawled sites
Social Bookmarking
Classified Ads
Article Marketing - submit to high PR directories, could also serve as link baits
Link Exchange - with relevant sites authority sites
Link Baits - for organic linking
Etc. etc.

What are your thoughts? What kind of link building method do you use and how effective has it been?

Here is one option "Press Release submission" to add to your list

Yahoo Answers (or any same as this site) is also one way to add in your list.

Don't forget that links from Yahoo Answers are automatically nofollowed, so you'd only get the benefit of traffic from these.

Haven't ventured into drawing traffic from Yahoo Answers yet. Does it really bring in a lot of traffic?

Don't personally think that Yahoo Answers is worth a great of your time for the small amount of traffic it will bring you. Give it a go & if you find out different let us know.

To answer a question well take quite a bit of time that could probably be spent doing other stuff, but everything is worth a try.

You may get some traffic from blog posting and forum posting but maximum forum and blog use nofollow,

I found a directory list where many directory links added include with PR 6, PR 5, PR 4, PR 3 and PR 2 links so I think these are quality links for my sites where i submit my site in relevant category..

So, will i get more traffic from there and increase PR , SERP increase or not?

If you get back links from relevant category this will give you benefit for you but if you get back link from your relevant website then it will more beneficial for you. So need to more concentrate to get back links from your relevant website.

I think to get a back links from a relevant sites/directories are good for the SEO, because Number of backlinks does work on Google and many other search engines.

Rest of them are important as well.
