Anyone want to simulate Gary's SBM test?
Hi all,
One of the first threads I read here at SEO Chat was Gary's SBM test. I missed out on it, but I'd love to get 10 or 20 people to run something similar to what he did. I know I would learn a lot in the process, and it's a good way to get to know some fellow posters. Anyone down? Here is his post about the process: This experiment will take approx. 7-10 days) I'll put the info together today and get it out to everyone. Until then be sure you have Firefox installed and at least 6 sbm (social bookmarking) shortcuts or ad dons installed. A few are del.icio.us, blue dot, stumble upon, now public, redit, digg, simpy, google toolbar, ma.gnolia, blinklist, furl, scuttle, and spurl. Also bookmark or add technorati. You will need to create accounts. If any of the above do not have a toolbar addon, or you don't want the toolbar (although you can just turn them off) then put them all in one bookmark folder so hey can all be opened at once to make things quicker. I also use roboform (free trial) an use the custom fields to pre-fill 98% of the fields, also to make things quicker. Is anyone in Google or Yahoo Groups? Please email or PM the subject so I can see if any relate to any testers sector. I need to get a list of everyone's sector in a pm or an email. This will remain confidential to all participants, as well as the public. I need these to match people up for a sub-test. Here are mine; insurance clothing furniture mobile phones airline/travel/vacations debt management IVA's bingo gambling computer parts automobiles One last thing, each sbm site has a different process for editorial guidelines. Now Open for instance has human editors, others have a spam button much like seochat has. You will need to spend a little time with each of the above sbm sites establishing yourself. Do this by bm'ing relevant information over the next day or two. Be sure that they are genuine and a good source. (i.e. A bm for insurance for me would be a .gov site for insurance information). I'll send out the rest of the info later, and thanks in advance all. GaryTheScubaGuy |

I believe Gary's SBM test has not happened yet, although it has been postponed a couple times.
