What are scripts
Would someone tell me what a script is. I sent for some download and other kinds of scripts on the freebie part of this site but I am not sure how to use them or get them to work in my site. I only asked for them because they offer the chance for me to do dome new things with my site.

Scripts can be found to check a sites density, scrape a site to see meta tags, provide hit counters, etc. Scripts are also designed for other uses besides web development.
