SEO software suggestion
Hello!
I am using WEB SEO to analyze my yet-un-uploaded pages on SEO friendliness. This soft today announced that I had 17 instances of my key word in the keywords tag – however there was only one “pure” version of my keyword there and the rest were take from overture and competitor metatags – which contain my keywords and other words too. I wonder how correct it will be to exclude these combo keywords based on the software’s suggestion. Thanks!!!! Dima |

If your keyword is "chip" and your kw tags say: "chip, chips, free chips, old chips" you have chip in there 4 times (which is one too many).
If you're concentrating on Google (where this thread was orginally posted) the KW metatag is useless anyway.

Thanks for your reply….the thing is the keyword is actually a 3-word phrase which gets chopped or truncated in some of the keyword phrases…I do aim for the google…is offsite ranking criteria the king here?))
