RewriteRule - URL - Hebrew.
Hello, I tried, and couldn't find how to rewrite URLs, so instead of their real address(index.php?bla=meow), It will be http :// www . domain . com /meow
In this example - it is easy, but the problem comes when i try to use Hebrew on the url. the (.+) / (.*) doesn't work on Hebrew char names on the url. Even when I opened a file on my FTP(FlashFXP, if that matters), and renamed it(again, in FlashFXP), to a Hebrew name, for example, HEBREW.html It didn't opened. and yet, I saw some page that have Hebrew on their url - for example, Wikipedia. But I couldn't find Wikipedia htaccess. So, any tips? only when I encode it, with url encode or any other kind on encoding, I can watch the page properly, but, the page appears in google with the encoded value. By the way, I am new here, looks like a good forum |

Is transliterating out of the question?

What do you mean by that? I am not so good at english, so transliterating is like to make a copy, isn't it?
