I'm creating a news script to store news articles in a MySQL database and using PHP to access this DB. Will PHP display this text on the page and allow it to be picked up by search engines?
Thanks! |

Excellent, is this because PHP processes its code before the page is loaded for the user? Also, I plan to have an admin control panel where I can update different database tables using forms. Is it best to keep search engines out of these pages? Or are there any negatives to having pages only accessible through valid sessions? |

i dont see any problem with php and databases i had use mambo and wordpress with no problem at all, all i do is mod rewrite all so its more friendly. A search engine will see this as a regular php website and he will not notice that you are getting info from a database.
