<NOSCRIPT> IS THIS ALLOWED? :) </NOSCRIPT>
Searchengineers recently worked on one of my friends web sites - they included a huge area of hidden text using "<NOSCRIPT>" tags.
This is used for older browsers I think, those whuch cannot support JavaScript. I wonder if google likes this technique or not. It is hidden text but for a valid reason i suppose. Any thoughts? Thanks, Gary.

I don't think Google would have a problem with this, in fact I use it on a few sites and have not had any trouble.
I think this would be only a problem if your site got a manual review and it was full of keywords and useless jargon which was obviously only there for search engine manipulation purposes, but I don't think there would be an auto-ban on the use of this tag in any way.
