Hello,
We're developing a new web-based tool that lets you investigate the prominence of different sites as they appear in the search results for a set of keywords. You can set up a project which contains a list of keywords and some sites you're interested in and then we check the results of search-engine queries using those keywords. The results are presented in a way which lets you see which keywords are important and which sites turn up most often. We scan every day and over time it's possible to see how different sites rise and fall in the the results for a given keyword. This tool can be used in a number of different ways: o SEO people can experiment with keywords, picking the best to use and make a difference to the visibility of the sites they manage. o Marketing people can look for keywords that broadly define a sector they're interested in. It's possible to track the visibility of competitors and associates over time and to look for new companies moving into that sector. o Business development people can gain an understanding of how their site is performing. Is the advertising spend being reflected in an improvement in the visibility of the site compared to the competition. This is beta software, so things might change a lot in as we test different features. We want to know what people think so if you have any comments or suggestions then please let us know. If you'd like to know more then please take a look at: URL Thanks! Andrew Wilson URL |

A web page has 2 seconds to retain or lost a visitor. It takes 60 seconds to create an account on a site.

Not sure I understand all of it, but it's a nice idea. When I entered multiple keywords, some came back with scores next to them. About 10, etc. When I clicked on it took me to the overture tool for finding keywords. The number seemed really low...looks like it's from uk? If so that would make more sense as my product keyword is not distributed outside of north america yet.
Also, in the list of top sites, I what does the score represent? The last question I have in my initial test drive is when I put multiple kewords in the tool, I only see one list of top sites...is this just for the first keyword, or is there some sort of algo that calculates a weighted avg? Keep up the good work. |
