Image thumbnail viewer Need Help with alignment
Hello, Im new to this forum and in need of help. I have created several web pages with this thumbnail viewer script. I am having problems when viewing in internet explorer 5.2 mac. It seems to be okay in all other browers, firefox, safari, netscape and IE6 for the pc. What happens is when I scroll over the thumbnails and bring up the larger image it comes up shifted to the lefti instead of remaining in the center. I tried various alignment options but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Here is the link:

Its probably due to the fact that MS has its own implementation of Javascript called JScript.
I think the only way to get around these issues is to make a "cross browser" script which uses an if function based on the user agent and serves up a different code block to handle the function you are trying to complete. Its a right pain!

Do you know what the conversion to Jscript would be?
Now for some unknown reason when I view any of my pages with thumbnail viewer in safari, in initially comes in misaligned. After I refresh the page, it works great. Does anyone know how to correct this? Heres an example: http://parkavenuesports.com/ParkAveSportsswimming.html Thank you for your advice. Last edited by GCK : June 12th, 2006 at 02:10 PM. |
