I've used all the packages out their at one time or another, so here's my 2cents: -

WebCEO (www.webceo.com) and WPG (www.webpositiongold.com) are useful for reports, such as tracking your search engine results, but aren't very useful for the actual promotion side of things.

WebLink SEO (www.weblinkseo.com) and SEO Elite (www.seoelite.com) are more useful for the actual promotion side of things.

It depends what you're looking for, but my personal favourite is WebLink SEO.

i do it all manually and i get the same type of results. I got sites in the top 10 without any software, try to read alot beacuse this type of software sometimes are not google friendly or can be very anoying for some webmasters (this is if you use some bulk email programs).

The best SEO work is done by hand or by a custom web site generator.

Report generators are also good, like Search Engine Commando. Also remember, a lot of good SEO work doesn't all depend on SEO applications.

I use WeblinkSEO as a promotion tool, its still manual labour mostly, it just logs and speeds up the whole process some what.
