Ok If we are talking about Email promotion i can tell you it does not work !
it brings bad traffic if you dont own your own website guess what the
owner of the site gets pissed i fond away to send over 100,000 email in 3 hours Which are not
getting into Yahoo/MSN Bulk email and still bad i receive BAD traffic or NONE.

the statistics go down and down everyday by emails if it was one to 100 its today one to 10,000
... So it's not worth your while pay 60C to get that 6 people. and don't send all this junk mail.

Look understand i'm dont think spamming is a bad idea but it does not work atleast for me and my products .

Anyways if you have a good way and you think it might work i can help you out contact me at the IRC efnet channel #SEO

Use Google to search for it. ;)

But seriously, http://www.webextractor.com/dev/email-harvester.htm is a good one. Not saying I've used it, but heard it was good.

i used to use mail harvestor pro .. it worked really well for what we used it for, but that was a couple years ago... sending out spam mail NOW is much different and can get you in big trouble.... be CAUTIOUS when using these.

Toddieg is right, the spam laws have changed. All your emails have to be writen in a way that they conform to the CAN-SPAM-ACT of 2003 which became law in Jan 1st 2004.

LiGhTen: bulk mail does work, I have jump started web sites from having no links to having over 10k of links via just a simple email to everyone that I can find about a subject. Now if days I just use my own data of 50k+ emails from all my sites to track people and get traffic/members to a new site.

I think if Broker boy, just goes around grabbing emails off the wrong site he will just get a bunch of people bitching about getting emails for blue widget site when they have a red widget site. But if he does a good job of collecting the emails from the right sites its just like sitting around emailing people by hand.

Broker boy Im sending you a PM with a system that will do what your looking for and a lot more.

This thread bites. Please do not spam.

When I receive auto-generated, mass-mailed link requests, even if they are for something I might consider, I mentally blacklist them. If you want me to link to you, build something worthwhile and let me find it on my own. If it is related to my interests, I'll find it.

So if one builds a site, and does not email anyone you will find it? I doubt that!

For link building to happen, one is going to have to email someone and make the request at some point to get links. Yes many low IQ people are just blatant thick when it comes to requesting links if not much else in life, and they will just email hoard’s of people that have nothing in relation to their site or interest.

A good link builder is going to review your site, and compile it into a list, then review it once more with all the other sites. At some point if you make it on their qualification then they will ask if you will trade link with them, and the same thing happens on your end when you review their site.

Yes I have a large database of people that I have traded links with in the past, so does SEO Guy. Each time I make a new site I see who I can email in that list, then I write a request to each of them. If I don’t have the quantity that I need I will hit the forums, or go look at your link page and get link partners from that list, but either way I will still have to submit a request at some point to make it happen.

If he does it wrong it wont do to well for him, but he just may have a competitor's site that has a large link page(s) and he want's to get all the emails from them then email each one, so unless he want's to spend hours going through sites, he could just compile the URL and email, then review each one as he see's fit.

My 2 & 3/8th cent! ;)

There is a huge difference between looking at a site (manually) and determining that they are amenable to link trades and using their available system or preferred e-mail to contact them versus using an e-mail harvester that collects addresses indiscriminently. Sending link requests to info@, sales@, support@, etc. because they were listed on a site is lazy.

I don't know what method the posters and lurkers for this thread intend to use, but my request stands. Please don't spam. Manual reviews of any site will quickly elucidate a proper form for contact if the site owner is amenable.
