Question Which are the best SEO Companys?

Hi,

While I'm introducing more in SEO activities, I have one simple question, Which are the best SEO companies in the World?

In my country I know that the best are people that make their own work, because they really think in the proyect and on their reputation, and big companies only limit to put <noscripts> and use their big PR for position the pages trying to lie the clients with large search terms (and easy to get good positions), in most cases the work is very bad.

Which country is this ?

Sounds like you have had some bad experiences to me..

Nothing ever wrong with easy to get positions... best ROI here !!!!

The best company in the world for SEO is the one that you can trust... That all ...

You have to have an amazing relationship with client/seo for it to work IMHO ...

I have two bad experiences, and I'm a SEO now, all my pages are fully indexable and have good relevance, but I don't have time to get links (the more important thing), now I work with a very good SEO company that helps me and get lots of links. But I think I need more power, and I would like to get another SEO Company (I will continue with the one I work, because it like so much to me).

But I would like which SEO companies works for big clients, like the biggest online shops in Europe.

Nowadays, in order to rank high you got to be a SEO yourself. I don't know any decent SEO company that I can recommend. All companies that I worked with were disgusting.

SEO is not at all like it used to be..... Nowadays it takes an incredible amount of trust between seo and client and an incredible amount of devotion and money.....

If you have all of these things along with lots of patience, an effective seo compaign will become a success.....

That's just non-sense. I can't think of a single reason why a SEO would be less likely to perform well within the walls of an agency (unless he wanted to use spam techniques). If anything, an agency can provide resources and expertise that otherwise might not be available to an individual (copywriting, development team, etc). A good agency has all of those in house and can allocate resources efficiently for the clients best interest.

I think that's a gross generalization about SEO firms. There are definitely a few good firms, and as the bad ones continue to be seen for who they really are, the good ones will rise to prominence and lead the industry.

Shameless Plug

I think my firm is pretty rad. We work with clients of all sizes...

For example, we are building 11900 links for one client, another client just 25. We do on-site optimization, content writing, have on-staff programmers and graphic designers to do the general web design and development stuff as well.

PM me if interested...

Just type "SEO Company" into your favorite search engine and see who comes up at the top. If they are winning that competitive search, I'm sure they can rank your business.

You might want to see if they're there in 2 weeks.

I have been thinking about the same thing. There are atleast three SEO approches, and large projects involve all three:

Web development
Never under estimate the value of a techically superb website where everything in the development cycle is of production quality. WAI is almost perfect as a guideline for the on site work.
Marketing and branding
I don't know much about this area, but it is very important. This includes all of those artifical linking campains.
Keyword research & SEO copy writing
It is all about the keywords. Pricing the right strategy. Creating perfect landing pages. All the beautyful statistics, and analysis. Interviewing people on the street.

Now to your question
I don't think there is a "best" SEO firm. It is the same as with lawfirm, or construction companies. Some are clearly better than others, but to pick a top 10 world wide would be impossible.

Some of the best SEO's I know only work on their own sites, they don't make any noice except when they drive their german cars.

The idea of 'best' is quite subjective. Rather, I would measure quality based on a variety of things:

- Professionalism of the people
- Honesty of the company
- Customer service
- Results

I think SEO companies/pros live and die by the same rules as any other business: it's a mix of product/service quality and customer service. The two go hand in hand.

Kasparov was merely stating *HIS* experience with seo companies. Thats how it read, and how I took it. Where do you get a gross generalization?

And I might also add the same is true in my experiences too. But I would never suggest *ALL* seo companies are bad. I would however recomend some fine folks from this board in a heart beat. Brandall, BigDoug, and may be Liloptimizer, since he can make $16k a month from one 48 page website with adsense, he's gotta be good too

I would have a problem trusting a firm or company. I'd rather give the business to some one I know.

But that's just me, and I am not trying to make a gross generalization of the seo industry no matter how bad it may be
