What are the ways to track visitors leaving the site
I'm interested in tracking our site visitors, only in so far as to which of the outbound links they follow. I'm hoping to get a feel for which outbound links and which topics are most interesting to our visitors. Also if we align our links differently on pages will visitors go to different sites more frequently.
Are cookies what we would use or is there a different way to do this? Dave |

Cookies won't do this for you.
What I would do is have some kind of redirecting script that you can 'bouce' through. It brings people to your site and then redirects them to the site that you'd really like them to go to. In the meantime it logs which site is sent them too. A google search on "url redirect script log" generated a number of possibilities. Neil. |
