Warning about Dodgy link exchanges
I found operators of velnet.co.uk, velnetweb.co.uk, haabaa.com removing my links secretly. No more secret now.. :-x
Beware of exchanging links with their sites: velnet.co.uk, velnetweb.co.uk, haabaa.com, planetgolfuk.co.uk. They have a few more sites other than these..
Quote:
hey, dont bull**** with me. your links have always been there.
If I am to move them, I will admit and explain to you why.
you secretly removed my links.
Your links are on these page all the while.
http://www.definiteweb.com/general-resources.htm (velnet)
http://www.definiteweb.com/list-of-directories.htm (haabaa and velnet)
Its bad enough you removed my links, and worse that you juistified your actions with a lie that I removed your links.
Explain yourself!

sorvoja disagrees: No need to wash dirty laundry in a public forum. People who do link exchanges are like junkies, you can't trust them.
gchaney agrees: Not dirty laundry, is squishy link partner. Thanks for letting everyone that does exchanges know about this.
yeah I think it is important to let everyone who does exchanges know about this.
creepy link partners like velnet.co.uk most probably be SEO scamming innocent clients as well.
thanks seochat moderators for having this post up.
I think it will help others more than anything.

I support sorvoja on this issue! You are clearly washing dirty laundry in public and even worse, targeted public. The thing about a forum, especialy a forum like SEOchat is that damage a company in the long term. This post will stay here for a long time, damaging their reputation! I don't even care if they are guilty or not. You reveiled to much information. It is very easy for anyone to be selective with communications to make someone else bad, nothing aimed at you at this time. But your post would have my support for investigation if you didn't make it such a sensational blatant harmfull post. I mean tell everybody else on the forum to heads up, then we get in comments of either support or oposition to your experience. But posting their comunications in a public forum is BS!

Jasontnyc disagrees: There is no way to verify this with them not having an oppurtunity to respond. We don't know if there is a legitimate reason they removed them
they did respond to me in other forums but were not able to produce my link locations.
from where I am seeing, its not dirty laundry. As gchaney pointed out, squishy link partner.
whether dirty laundry or not, this post was made to let everyone else know about this.
you see.. they are at it again.

dude their repuation is already damaged. these guys were already banned in some respectable forums, according to what the moderators told me.
right now, I am just warning others about this group of people.
