Wanted, PPC and SEO Partnership

I'm calling it a partnership because I've had a few bad experiences online with SEO so far. One firm keyword stuffed my pages to get them ranked, then charged me a monthly fee, but didn't touch the files for 3 months(I ended that relationship). I'm looking for someone I can trust, so references would be required.
I'm also looking for someone that might be willing to be paid on performance. Please send me a PM if you are at all interested.

Mark

I'm wondering what the difference will be. In my experience even crappy SEOs provide references - what will you do with those...

Do you hire a third party to do a background check to validate or just request the reference and then shove them in a drawer?

I am also wondering "what SEOs are bad experiences" since you seem to be experienced in due diligence - what credentials did your past SEOs have?

Additionally, what does "performance base" mean to you?

By removing risk from you and placing more risk on the consultant you tend to pay more but there is still no guarantee that "performance implies sales" therefore you could be paying more but making less.

Be that as it may, it is likely best to do PPC only as all costs and performances are absolute.

I'd like to think that I've learned enough about the process to avoid making the same mistakes I had made in the past. I do want it done right, I am not expecting the world, I know it needs a ton of work to take it to the next level.

Paying for performance is something I thought of in regards to my keywords, for example a top 20 result would pay X, a top 10 would pay more, and of course a number one would pay the most. I've already got top 50 placement in some of my keywords so in my opinion I'm not that far away(this is after I removed the previous guys SEO.css entries)

I'm a reasonable guy, I'm looking for someone that would look at my site and see that there is opportunity for revenue there, and perhaps would want a percentage of the profits.

If you need to get in touch with me I can be reached by email at mark at nospampleaselivetechsupport.ca.

Your email address bounce back lol
Profit percentage was just an idea I was willing to entertain, I'm not certainly not against paying with cash.

I have no idea where you're based, but I'm in the process of setting up a Birmingham Web Development Partnership (UK). Let me know if you're local
