Wanted: Freelance SEO Specialist (Toronto, Canada)

A busy Toronto-based Internet Marketing Agency with great clients is looking for an equally great freelance/contract SEO specialist to work part-time on client projects. This could lead to steady part-time or full-time engagement for the right person.

The ideal candidate will have:

* 4+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably of large/complex e-commerce Websites
* tons of keyword and competitive research skills
* extensive ability to manually fine-tune HTML code for spiders
* razor-sharp grasp of the difference between Black Hat and White Hat techniques
* ability to write and re-write copy for search engines
* excellent oral and written communication skills
* a rigorous, detail-oriented and deadline-driven mindset
* the resourcefulness and drive to be able to work unsupervised at times

It would be nice if he/she also had:

* 2+ years of hands-on search engine advertising experience (AdWords, YSM)
* strong coaching/teaching skills (to teach others about SEO basics)
* experience executing link building campaigns
* solid familiarity with the French language
* a sense of humour

You MUST live in the GTA and/or be available to work, at least part of the time (attending meetings) from our downtown Toronto office during normal business hours.

If you're up for the challenge, please email your resume AND preferred hourly rate to "emarketer AT canada DOT com" AND be sure to put "SEO Chat White Hat June 2006" in the SUBJECT line. No recruiters, SEO firms, or moonlighters need apply, thanks.
