Starting new portals! What are the best options.

One of my customer has shown keen interest in financing new portals on different industries / segments. Idea is to develop and market them effectively.

I plan to start with 7 B2B / B2C new portals. My choices of industries are : Travel, Real Estate, Industrial, Wedding Arrangements, Crafts, Astrology, Mobile Phones.

We may launch the sites within 6 months and do SEO, PPC, Email Marketing, etc. Target is global customer. And breakeven is 26 months from start.

Would be of great help, if you can share your ideas and experience. Have I chosen the right industries.

Is outsourcing good ? May be looking to outsource to reduce cost.

I welcome your to-the-point suggestions.
