Get a couple of cakes before flying back from Amsterdam to the UK.
It's funny, I always feel a bit uneasy when I'm on a ferry, looking at the "ugly" grey sea below - wondering how deep and cold that water would be {shiver}. I prefer flying, but to each his own I guess Side-sidenote: I vote "yea" for an Amsterdam follow-up. It's not really next-door, but hey: close as it'll ever be. (I don't expect more than 5 people to show up, but hey: I'm an optimist) |

Bergen would be great. I get a lot of work done when I take the train
to Bergen (I do not get any work done when I fly), but the problem would be that most members here would have to change flights once or twice to get to Bergen. I is funny how much work you get done when you are forced to sit still for many hours with out internet access! Right now I should be working insted I am typing this post! God, I love to hate to waste valuable time.

London, England is also nice and mick might get there by train. His girl friend has probably already been to London and wouldn't feel the need to tag along.
It is very easy to get to London, every larger city in the western world has a direct flight to London) and after the end of the war against the Irish militants the city is safe to visit. |

I love London. My wife does too: it's a brill place to shop for shoes.
I've only been there twice...Should really go again. Takes a bit of work to get a reasonably priced hotel close to city centre, but still. If you're not afraid of the odd bug and if you can take toast and orange marmalade for breakfast every single day, then I have just the right address Quote:

I cannot travel by train (scared of railways) but i can get a coach direct from my door to the centre of london. London,, ya that would be good. Barcelona would be nice then we could sit sunbathing after the conference and get drunk on cheap wine and san miguel beer. |
