SEO Team Leader

What key responsbilities should be mentioned while looking for the post of SEO team leader.

Client Handling
Latest SEO trends
Good experience in previous projects
Good Communication skills
Leadership qualities.

These are all the things a team leader position should deserve.

I would like to add:

Task delegation

I assume you are applying for a job in this area. Ask yourself if it was you employing the person for your company what would you be looking for.

Some general questions you should have answers for.
1) What can you bring to our company?
2) Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
3) Why should we employ you?
4) What do you see as your main weaknesses?
5) What experience do you have managing/motivating staff?
6) What do you know about our organisation?

I imagine it is quite important to have the technical product knowledge associated with SEO but for me a team leader needs the people and management skills to lead ie to get the most out of the team. If you donot have the technical skills to some degree I imagine you will not get the job. But having technical skills does not mean you have the leadership/management/motivational skills required. I would be emphersizing these areas in my application.

You have suggested very good interviewing questions but difficult one , I m fully agree with u that team leader must have combination of skills (Technical + Management + Leadership).
