Cheap and Good. Hearing that phrase on a daily basis is what made me quit consulting.

Try elance, there are a lot of cheap India developers/SEO types on there. Some of them are good, and at least there is a review system.

Of course, if you really want cheap, you should look at places other than India. They aren't so cheap anymore.

One real problem you'll run into with India SEO professionals is language. I've been working with India programmers for 10 years, and have yet to meet one that has the English language knowledge required for SEO.

As is usually the case, you get what you pay for.

Check very carefully before parting with any money you can easily get bitten!

Bearing in mind you are IT biased you ould probably fare well at SEO if you spent a while reading up on these forums and you could save your self the money on an SEO. It would get the SEO ball rolling for you anyway.
