SEO Service How To Advertise & Get Work

Hi

I have spent the last 2 years educating myself in SEO with a course run in Britain by the Chartered Inst Of Marketing in Emarketing.

Now how do i get enough business to get a net profit of 250,000 UK Pounds in the next 12 months?

I know i can use google ads etc but any advice on where to advertise especially for free or at low cost to get regular seo work would be great, i am very interested in sport, social science, travel and tourism so might i be better at doing seo in these industries that i am passionate about?

Thanks

Nick

Get local ,try targeting local buisnesses.

Once you establish yourself ,your network automatically grows and more work you get through referrals then maybe you can promote about your services on a larger basis.

It appears customer acquisition wasn't part of your training? I think your goal of 250,000 UK pounds net is unrealistic unless you have a large marketing budget and a phone large bank of telemarketing cold callers that can close sales. Craiglist, SEO organizations, free lancing sites, your own web site, etc. are unlikely to create enough leads to earn you that kind of money in your first or even your second year. You need a proven track record (IMO) to get that kind of money. You need a marketing plan that hmmm...should mirror what you might recommend to a client. SEO is only part of a successful Internet marketing plan. Of course you know that already though since you have been studying for two years.

For some more ideas...try this previous post on page two of this section instead of us all reposting.
