SEO/SEM Business Advice
Hi Guys,
I've been lurking on here for a while but this is my first post.
Since 2001 I have been running and marketing a number of horse racing related websites as well as working as a full-time online marketing expert for a UK Job Board.
Up until now I have never done any freelancing work but have now been approached by a number of horse racing related websites all wanting me to do some freelance SEM work for them. It seems I have become a respected expert in the horse racing website field and become almost a bit of a celebrity with some of them.
The work it-self is no problem nor the actual billing as I have contacts in a freelance umbrella company.
I've told the prospective clients that I work for £45 (Great British Pounds) an hour and they all seem happy with that.
Do any of you have a basic client contract template that I could adapt to send my clients?
Also how do you guys charge for your work... is it hourly or by job?
Any other advice on the business side would be welcome
Thanks
Ian
