SEO/Promotion/Marketing Needed

We are seeking someone with knowledge of the current TOP search engine environment. eg: Google, Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Ask, etc..

This is a new site that has not been submitted to any search engines. If successful, we have numerous other projects to promote as well.

Not being experts in this field, we would like to know how/if you will address the following:

1) Manual Submission
2) Web Page Optimization
3) Keyword frequency, weight, prominence and proximity
4) Links
5) Articles
6) Meta, Title and Alt Tags
7) Forum postings
8) Blog Links
9) Robot Exclusion Standards
10) Google XML & Yahoo Sitemap
11) Timeframe

PM'd you, but one thing you have realize is that you need to be more clear in what your expectations are in terms of a "time frame."

There are so many clients that want results right away. SEO is building a house not buying one. It takes time, there is not an exact time frame. Each project depends on competition.

Another issue is that once you get the rankings you have to maintain them by continuing quality content production and link building or else all the hard work is for not.

Also might be a good idea to let us know what kind of gig it is. Some SEOs are pretty strong in certain areas. Most can handle just about any niche, but you might find someone with a certain level of expertise in your niche.

trying, I think I could help you with the items you've enumerated, but I'd like to talk to you live first to see what your goals are and more than that, how do you define "reasonable timeframe".

trying, you should educate yourself on seo a little. I know - you don't have time. But how are you going to evaluate offers? For example, on the list you presented, which is basically the ONLY factor that matters for rankings?

And, it depends on your site's current status with Google but be cautious with anybody who promises you quick rankings.

I would give more details to both dsnyder & sensei and allow them to compete for your business and ignore all other offers -- based on a few things.

1. neither provided "exactly what you wanted to hear".

2. both posted realistic questions

3. neither promised anything without knowing more details.

Within the cloud of "we guarantee," "top 10 ranks or money back," "we're so good that we're #1 for search engine optimization seo firm website design company washington DC"... these two are better offers.
