SEO Firms (recommendations)
My employer is currently seeking a new SEO firm as the last one pretty much did not answer emails in a timely manner (high dollar cost too!) and everything was well just wait.
We are pretty SEO savvy, but lack the time to invest in backlinks (I get new ones frequently, but not high page rank). Our primary concern (outside of SERP) is communication and feedback about questions we have. IE we dropped in MSN after doing very well for a long time. I queried them in regard to what their thoughts on that might be - nothing - no response. Does anyone have any suggestions for US based firms? Thanks We are in top ten for google, our goal is number one (which is why this is in google to begin with) |

You're going to get slammed with PM's...lol Might want to consider sending out your own to selected individuals.
Also, you may want to mention your site industry as there are SEO's that may specialize and your firm might be more comfortable with someone that understands your market. I am not ashamed to recommend SEO Guy. Does very good work and is very reputable. You can contact him via seoguy.com. Don't have any relationship with him other than competing with some of his client sites. You may also want to cruise the forum and look around at who's who and doing what etc. There are some very, very capable individuals here - who I hope I don't have to compete with for positions in serps...lol Doesn't get much better than someone that is active within a industry forum with posts you can read and get a handle on knowledge and techniques as a part of your evaluation. Please ignore me, as I absolutely do not do 3rd party SEO except in the form or sarcasm...lol Wishing you and your firm great success.

Of course seo-guy is Canadian (I think) but they have dollars too ;)
I'd have a lot of faith in someone like seo-guy, but if you're SEO savvy (which I'm sure you are) then maybe you can hire people to just to the "footwork". It'll take some work on your part, but at least you can concentrate on the fun bits. I bet some of the PMs you're getting qualify for this scenario - hehe

here are some recommendations. they are legitimate and real good, other than seo-guy.com.
BruceClay.com PWIM.com OneUpWeb.com Since you are looking for US based firms, that disqualifies my own plug -definiteWeb.com. Personally, I would go for PWIM cuz I have seen a lot of what they have done so far. good luck! Last edited by seo-australia : April 18th, 2005 at 11:07 PM. |
