Top Search Engine Optimization Company is seeking Sr. SEO Strategist.

Role: We are seeking an energetic, proactive and analytically-minded person to join our SEO team. The Senior Search Engine Optimization Strategist is responsible for delivering best practice SEO services and results to our clients. The Senior Search Engine Optimization Strategist is accountable for developing, implementing and managing SEO campaigns. The job includes a great deal of client contact and cross-team collaboration between Sales, Client Services, Operations and Project Management.

Responsibilities:
- Translate clients’ business goals into successful search engine optimization strategies
- Perform information gathering services including technical site analysis, competitive/keyword research and link analysis
- Optimize various site elements, including site structure, link popularity and copywriting (We have in house copywriters that you will work with)
- Develop ongoing customer reports, which yield continues positive trends for ongoing SEO efforts
- Work to establish and maintain project management processes to manage multiple SEO projects at one time
- Work with cross functional departments to develop and track all details of SEO initiatives

Qualifications:
- Prior Search Engine Optimization experience is mandatory for this role
- Specific technical web experience, such as expertise in ASP, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS is required
- Basic understanding of the mechanics of how search engines work
- Basic knowledge of website design and development
- Understanding of site analytics tools (e.g. Hitbox, Webtrends)
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, particularly in the area of explaining fairly technical ideas to constituencies in non-technical roles
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- 2+ years of SEO and management experience required
- Proficient in project management applications (Excel, MS Project)
