SEM-SEO Firm Management

Hello everyone,

I am at the point in my business where I need some advice or help.

I am tired of using paypal as my main option of receiving payments, I also need a more professional way to invoice clients, and I need a way to manage the clients I have in a better fashion than relying on extensive folder management in Outlook / Express.

Any thoughts past experiences welcomed !!!

Also has anyone developed an seo or sem checklist to use with websites they are either optimizing, or managing PPC campaigns for?

Any help is greatly appreciated, if you have a product you have developed and wish to share it in exchange for $$ I am willing to entertain purchases.

Clint

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by managing clients, but I know many sales people who use Goldmine - here's a URL: http://www.cqsolutions.com/ - I know nothing about that particular URL or the company - just liked being to see it against Act!, another big program for contact management.

As for payment options, I'm not the guy to ask.

been there done that! you're learning as I did, that being organized and using software tools to manage the "managing" part of your biz could be a good thing, and I agree!

MS of course makes office, with it's Access dbase and it's templates that can control your clients etc. in a dbase that is already made (course you've gotta enter the data). to boot, you can use Excel and it's Invoice templates to bill your clients too via email. Paypal not enough? Then perhaps try 2Checkout.com, by creating an account there for all cc billing and payments -- but then again go and google for same as there's tons of various cc 3rd party companies out there. This was my own solution and it works well for me...

In fact, you can 'build' your own biz management software out of pieces that are all out there fairly inexpensively...or you can google for a single tool to do it all. Act and Goldmine are contact databases that I think can do most of this, but I do not know if they can handle the emailing of Invoices....sorry.

Guess what I'm trying to say is to think thru all the needed services you must have, and then find a tool for each...remembering that integrated tools are best!

Run your ideas by us here...would be glad to offer some expertise on the apps that I know!

Jim
