Repoting to my clients...
Hi all...
Until now, I created a custom Excell file and copy-paste details like in the 90's Now , I have more than 3 clients and I have to find another way to report my clients. Interesting to hear how do you report to your client ? Have a great day! Guy. |

We have created a template page using XHTML and CSS for reporting to clients. Every month we simply adjust the content to reflect what we have done. This report includes:
* Recommendations for higher placement * Directory submissions * PPC services * Paid listings (banner/text ads) * Link exchange (in progress and completed) * On page optimization We have links from this page to: SERPS report page - List of keywords, current position, page, last position, change +/- for the top 3 SEs Stats page - We use awstats which is open source and very comprehensive. By doing this as web pages, our clients are able to go to: www.theirdomain.com/seo, enter their password and view this info at any time. We also have software we created called TMS (ticket management system), which tracks all work we do through every project milestone. This gives our clients access to the work we have done, staging servers, etc. any time they want to see it. |

Maybe this post should go into one of the forums that is more appropriate? Such as this one:
http://forums.seochat.com/seo-professionals-57/ It surprises me how many irrelevant posts go up in the "Google Optimization" forum. Doesn't seem too complicated to me.

Not exactly sure how you correlate simplicity with surprise. Let's see; if I had a question to ask and wanted it answered relatively quickly (we do live in the land of the Big Mac and drive-thru weddings), then would I post my question in a forum with 50 people viewing it or one with 2 people viewing it?) I think that if those other forums had regular viewership then we would not have so many irrelevant (read=not on topic) posts in the Google Optimization section. Alas, Google drives our world, so here we are in their forum, posting about everything. I have been guilty of this myself when impatiently awaiting an answer. |

Many of us read all the other forums too, and, of course, each thread must be placed into the right forum. We wouldn't want to mix things up and discuss about msn's ranking system into the google forum, wouldn't we?

I've had problems with webceo in giving me realistic rankings. It worked fine for a while then stopped giving me google rankings for some reason. I use something called seo administrator which is much better in that it gives me more accurate rankings than webceo ever gave me. |

I think the problem is either your database hasn't been upgraded (maybe you didn't see it in the attention bar on the right), either you've done too many querries without inserting your api key. Chris |

We have a google API that is not the problem as well as the latest upgrade but it doesn't help. 'm happy with what I got now anyways because it works a lot better. |
