Recommend a SEO company
Can anyone suggest a reputable SEO firm with a history of success with yahoo.com?

My site does quite well with google but have made little to no headway with yahoo (& MSN).

I've decided I need professional help. (its that or seek a mental health specialist).

What should I look for in a company? What should I avoid?

I appreciate any help you can offer me.

It is very odd that your site does so well with Google and not theother majors. If the SEO strategy is a good one it will spread across all three. If anything, sites tend to do less well with Google. Just email me the url and I can take a look. You should look for a company with proven results and recommendations from clients.

Basically Yahoo concentrate more on "page factor" rather than "off page factor" like google, secondly both yahoo and MSN have
more keyword density and spam. These are the point you take into consideration when you are going to optimize your site for Yahoo and MSN.
