This might be a difficult task. Let me explain the history of this first. The reason why I'm looking for an SEO expert is a major drop in my google rankings 2 months ago. I lost 60% of my traffic coming from Google and I can't find out why.
freedownloads.be is not a new site, it has been in the search engines since 2001 and traffic has always increased since then, such as the number of pages on this site. Before this drop, we've always ranked quite good. I'm not an expert but I do know something about SEO'ing so I'm not looking for basic SEO tips, I've done a lot of on-page optimization and have acquired a number of new backlinks in the last 2 months. Do you think you can help freedownloads.be? Please contact me: webmaster@freedownloads.be (Be sure to describe who you are, if you have any experience, what you charge, .... ) We would like to work something out performance based: The more traffic freedownloads.be gets again from Google, the higher our income, the larger your share of it. Some information about freedownloads.be you may need: - 10.000 unique visitors / day (we had over 25.000) - We changed to a dedicated server more then a month before our "traffic crash" I'm looking forward to some reactions Thanks Tim De Grave freedownloads.be founder |

Google Drop veteran
My site suffered the same fate as you last year. THe infamous Google Dance has dropped my site from #2 on 1st page (my main key word) to page 55 !!!
Traffic dropped 40% or so. Now I slowly crawled back to #9 on page 1 of Google (after 5 months of using my own derived system). So, it is possible to "crawl back" to google, but it might take a little bit time. But, 1st, you mentioned you switched to a new server, a new host? Did you use 301 redirect or other redirect strategy? Did SE knows you'd moved? Is your new host a "bad neighborhood host"? Guilty by assoication... Back links.... Don't overdo it. Most SEO now knows overkill could over-kill your site. Or, did some linkfarms link back to you? Did you subscribed to those "1,000 links back to you in a minute..." scheme? Get rid of it quick... Start with the above first. Regards, Resurrected guy |

Google Drop Re-surrected
continue from my previous post...
do you still have access to your old host/server? Can you get to the old .htaccess file? I can show you how to use 301 redirect then. Before you do anything else, this is step 1 !!! theGuy |
