Professional SEO Ranking Software Recommendations

Hi all

I hope I am posting this in the right section.

I'm looking for recommendations on a piece of software that our agency can use to for up to 5,000 clients to automatically report on client's rankings on a monthly basis and produce some nice reports to go with it.

I've been looking around for something for a while - is it best just to have something developed bespoke or have I been searching for the completed software package in the wrong place?

Whatever you do I would stay away from web position gold. Google refers to that one specifically in their FAQs

That's OK, I wouldn't touch it as 5-6 years ago I was banned from G for using it and only by Mr Cutts intervening personally did I get out of that mess. After that G announced on their site not to use it, altghough it's web analysis was good in it's time.

I'm sure the people at web position gold are going ballistic. If you had stock options in them I'd bail out now.

ranking tools

Have a look at Advanced Web Ranking and IBP.

You'll need to have quite a few different ip addresses/proxies to run that many reports for your clients else you will get banned.

- AWR has the option of inputting google and yahoo api keys
- Both pieces of software have the ability to schedule the tasks to run.
-AWR has superior reports and graphs, however there is no word export. Html is good enough if you do not need to print them.

Have a look at the website for some trial versions.

I have used both pieces of software and would say it can take upwards of an hour to do 600 ranking checks for 1 site.

IBP does a good job ranking yes, but they don't have too many more features. WEB CEO offers analysis as well.

Really if you're a pro pro you'll use analytics metrics and create custom reports....
