Popular SEO companies?

Hi there. Quick query, im looking for a few popular UK SEO companies, ie renoun companies that if someone said, think of a seo company you'd go www.whatever.com

UK companies are prefered.

Just using these for a bit of research for domain names and the link, and content to build a list of domain names from and so on.

Much appreciated

Search more. But, the question is what do you mean by "popular", because that could mean extremely expensive. Don't look after the most popular ones necessarily, but try to find the best that fits you in terms of trust-results-knowledge / cost.

well, i mean, if people want a search engine, they use google.

if people want news, they'd look at cnn for instance

for seo forums they'd look at seochat..

so for a seo company they'd look at...

Just wanted a list of sites people would happily state as "these are a good company".

As said, I dont want to use the company, just do some research on them, and I could search all day long, but that isnt going to give me reliable and popular ones

Arrow

BT does seo. how's that for popular.

i bet their service stinks tho :p

the best end to the sentence "if you want the best seo..." would be "you learn it yourself"

have a read of http://bwdp.org/webmaster/seo and consider the pricing on http://seo.birminghampr.co.uk as a benchmark on realistically cheap prices for excellent quality service (and you shouldn't trust any less quality of service, because of the risks involved in seo)

More Affordable than Bruce Clay

I was actually doing a lot of research into SEO Reselling Companies because I am looking to switch from my current SEO supplier and I too was wondering if anyone knew of a good company worth researching. Bruce Clay is awesome and very expensive. I am hoping to get into the business of reselling SEO and have looked at a lot of companies so I would appreciate any advice or recommendations.

Thanks,
Rich

I am very serious. I have been looking for a couple of months now and I just didn't want to leave any stone unturned. I am not rushed, but since we have the opportunity to ask questions and get some answers, I took it. Just curious what people thought and if they did have any experience with any companies that they were willing to refer me to.

Thanks for asking,
Rich

I was actually in the same boat that you were a couple of weeks ago. My best advice would be to just make sure that you not only research the company that you are looking to hire, but to also research their client’s experiences with that company. Did they perform for them? Did they supply results? Try to dig up all the testimonials that you can just to make sure that they are legit in what they claim to do, ya know?

Hi newseoman,

I would suggest you to check www.topseos.com website, there you can find hundreds of SEO/SEM companies with basic info, ratings, etc. Also you can submit your request for services and companies will get in touch with you.
