Please Read Before Posting - UPDATED AUG 6th 2007
Please Read Before Posting
The "Seo Professional" category is here for the discussion of the many issues involved with doing Search Engine Optimization as a living such as pricing, legal issues, customer satisfaction and others. It is a place for professionals to share ideas and experiences as well as for those looking to start a career in SEO to ask advice. From time to time there may also be requests for services by the professionals that frequent SEOChat. We welcome these type of requests although we ask that they follow a certain format. This merely insures that all parties including SEOChat are looked after and that it is a resource for long time members and newbies alike. For Posting: 1.) Please use the title "Seo Professional Required" or an appropriate title if you are looking for more specific help. Titles that will not be acceptable are vague ones like "HELP!!!" or "Make a lot of money today!". These type of titles will be edited to better reflect the actual requirements of the post. 2.) Do not post personal information like phone numbers or email addresses. Primary contact should be through PM so be sure to add a line to the affect of "Please PM me with qualifications" 3.) Threads may be locked after 60 days as they will no longer be relevant. If you are looking to advertise on a constant basis then please contact Devshed. For Replying: 1.) We encourage those who are replying to list qualifications or to ask questions about the type of work requested. Personal Details such as phone number or email address will be removed as if interested, you should contact the original poster through PM only. 2.) No Use of Anchor Text or Spammy sales pitches. These type of posts will be deleted rather than edited. 3.) Do not post things like "just PM'd you" - If you PM'd them, then they already have a reminder when they come to SEOChat. There is no need to bump a thread for this reason. Please Note - If you are looking for an SEO Professional and get a response here at SEOChat, it is your responsibility to do the proper checks. SEOChat claims NO responsibility for any work performed as SEOChat nor Devshed have anything to do with these requests for services. Spend the extra time researching the SEO's that respond! Be smart as merely responding to your thread is no reflection on the quality of their services. Also note that threads may be deleted for any infraction of the above requirements and it is not the responsibility of the Moderators to edit your post. Thank You, JasonTNYC PS. If you have any questions or want a rule clarified, feel free to PM me Last edited by Visio : August 6th, 2007 at 07:24 AM. |

Update
Added August 6th, 2007
Members who register for the sole purpose of promoting their services will get their posts deleted and will receive a warning and/or ban. I am also raising the requirements for posting in the professionals forum... Webmasters looking for an seo can post at anytime however until 10 posts they may not send PMs. SEO may only reply to a thread after 50 posts have been made on our forums, I feel this is a very fair number and will help the webmaster decide based on the advice of the poster whether or not they know seo.
