Thats great becuse we can see the quality of your leads.

Sometimes people that sell leads would never give leads away because they are old or used leads.

Nice one, you must be offering fresh good quality leads.
Good luck with it.

Thanks guys

This is going to take a bite on my end, I still have to pay for the leads but if it helps you all feel the potential I'll eat the fees for a while.

Looking forward to doing business with you.

Mike

Mike...gotta ask....and as I'm a thousand + miles outta your locale, I hope you can be honest here....

what does such 'telemarketing' cost? how are they paid, hourly? by the lead? who sets up the 'criteria' by which they ask questions, get answers and then toggle the call as a lead (or a dead one?)

what kind of numbers do they produce? ie outta 1000 calls, you get 3 leads? have you or others checked on those leads to determine whether or not they are valid leads?

guess what I'm asking is, does this kind of marketing actually work - and I'm trying to work around my distaste for telemarketing as an industry too...which is difficult up here in Canada as we get calls beginning at 5 and ending at 10 pm daily here...

damn telemarketers...but hey, it's a biz and I do realize that...

can you fill us in here?

Jim

They are paid hourly at the moment when we begin outsourcing telemarketing they will be outsourcers and get paid by their work. We are paying minimum $9.00 an hr right now. Barabara the telemarketing sales manager and I came up with the criteria for a lead when she started setting leads for us. This came from her and two other girls setting appointments for us. The process of verifying the lead is this
Telemarketer sets the lead ===> Barbara Calls Back and then puts it in the Directory unverified if it's good. ===> Then I call the lead and decide if it's a job we want. (No BS there if I want to do the job we take it) If it's just not within the scope of work we want to do I turn it into a lead and Verify it. Otherwise if it's not a sale I delete or if it is a Lead I want I don't verify it and we submit a proposal to the client.

There are two things that keep me from taking all of them TIME, SLEEP. I can't do them all and I don't want a huge office with employees I've never met.

They set about 1 out of 15 calls. I kill about 1 out of every 5 of those and I take about 1 out of every 20 of what I don't kill

We have built our entire business around these leads and we do well. So yes it works.

See you Jim
