Ok, here's another one... I NEED AN SEO PRO, TOO!

Ha Ha Ha, I am laphing silently right now after reading the last few posts about wallstreater's comment with regard to knowing someone who is a Pro for hire.

Well, truth be told, I am here to find Professional help with my site. I ventured into this business 19 months ago and my website is dead. The potential is tremendous and my product is first rate and extremely profitable. I tried to build this site by myself with no experience. I have been brutally raped over the past 1-1/2 yrs by PPC marketing in overture and google adwords (approx $2000/month). My site is sloppy to say the least and I have no idea how to fix it. Yet, as it stands now it still makes a profit, just not enough for my rich blood.

I need a real PRO to re-write the code in my site, all of the text is there and I believe it is now nearly keyword optimized. But, the html is garbage cause of this cheesy program I downloaded from yahoo hosting called "sitebuilder". I also need two new "interactive" pages developed in either java or php script for my ordering pages.

Lastly, I need STRONG SEO to get me into the rankings for my chosen keywords as quickly as possible.

I dont recall what is so funny Dude. Just because someone is from a third world country doesnt mean they dont know seo.
Amazing the pure prejudice on this message board. Good luck, and by the way im still trying to get my casino site back from the american seo who ripped me off and took off with my money. I will post in this same exact thread a year from now when his seo site is at the top of all the search engines and this board is the one i wont recommend . No wonder why the seo's in third world countries have it so hard, but u will be surprised to know there is one on this forum that didnt perform what he intended on a site. I on the other hand am gonna make sure that these seo's from third world countries are allowed to show their true talents instead of getting ripped off by their clients on price and not being able to show their work. Wallstreetwww... you should look and see that the poster is in Thailand. He knows his way around the 3rd world. He lives there.

I have spent most of my executive career working with 3rd world countries. I have had some good and some bad experiences. The good companies are great, but you had better know their business culture and check to ensure that what you believe is being done is what is really being accomplished. Communication is in English, but truly understanding is another subject.

I currently have coding backroom design done in India, but I know them like I know my next door neighbor. Even then the understanding is sometimes really lacking. It is a challenge that drives my partner crazy.

I understand what your saying man, and i was burnt by a few indians myself, which is why when i found a good seo, i didnt believe him at first until i saw the top rankings come in in front of my eyes. MY parents came to america with an honest work effort. Yes there are coders in india that will rip you off but does that mean they all will. Even if hes from thailand how does he come off just automatically critisizing someone he doesnt even know. This last week he has had to send out 30k link requests , and that is really frustrating to see someone work like a donkey and get paid peanuts and at the end of the day not be able to even show the fruits of his work to others. I even tried asking around about how i could get this guy away from that seo death blow: the non disclosure aggreement but no one even lifted a finger to help.
I know i am a little passionate but after being burnt by so many seo's i finally find a good one yet he is still operating behind the scenes. As far as seeing the results and knowing if they are his work or not, i was given a few sites to do directory linking for and i had success myself on one of them lol. It felt good but im just talking msn results. I dont know google like he does. I know there is one seo here that knows this guys talents but he wont say it.

I dont think that being from a guy from thrid-world-country is something relevant here. No intent offence but US is one of the most currupt and disobedient countries on the world so this means that you cant trust them?... well you can be cheat by people all around the world no matter if he lives in UK, or Asia, or Costa Rica we the thrid-world-countrys also work hard to get reputation and clients, i had been working for around 4 years with clients on the internet and i havent see them on person but i still got a good relationship from them.

Its a shame that people is judge because of the origin or place where they got born because if you ask me they can be alot of talents that are there that you are ignoring...

I understand that maybe he got a higher index of robbing here but still looking at his background profile and checking past works is not a waste of time.

Personally i had been put in this box saying that am too young to know what i can do so sometimes people dont beleive my capabilities and they think i work with a team or they dont beleive me at all... but people had never care where i came from, for me its all about the portfolio, if its good you are hired if not... well good bye... and thats how i think it should work.

Carlos... You are correct, many folks here in the US would sell their baby for a dollar or cut your throat for a quarter. But, if they cheat from a 3rd world country... you have no recourse. Kiss your money and maybe idea goodbye.

If they cheat from the USA... you can sue, contact their host, get them banned, etc. You can at least do something if they are in the same country; and, you just may get your money back.

I got a freelance writer in India...

A cultured pearls client in China...

A PPC manager in China...

An offshore incorporation service provider in Singapore...

One will get burnt from all cultures, walks of life, and industries... developing nation or developed.

That said: the factual SEO service provider should be the one at the board - simply because as you state "you don't know anything" and the person that you 'vouch' for [saying they do] doesn't say anything... and that is a very bad combination.

Well you got a point there, but i was going to add this earlier but i forget...

I can claim to be a USA resident, and it will be very easy for me mirror a ip from there and make a paypal account saying that i am from the USA, also I can change my name in the internet and noone will see the difference, but obviously knowing that i cant meet the guy but i can make a excuse and work in a long-distance-relationship... now this days you cant say you are from here becuase they are people travelling around the globe, i can steal someones money on the contries i want and before they notice i can be gone to a country where some international laws contries that dont have extradition like Costa Rica (i was born here, dont think i got here becuase i had steal money ), or Switzerland.

For me its all about the portfolio and reputation, asking around will not take you long...

I think i had said all i can about the subject.

My final point was that no matter where you are, if you ignore a place because of their cultural or business concept youare ignoring potential and good workers.

I dont think this thread has a straigth dirrection it seem more than a dispute between the original poster and fathom which it seem to be a little unconfortable have in a forum, if you want to continue my point we can proceed but i dont think its apropiate to figth becuase of something none of us is concern.

To make this clear, i had one work of this guy, and for what i had seen (i dont know if is true but i cant say the oposite, sorry wallstreeterwww) this guy seem to be good and have knowledge about SEO. What i dont understand is why you dont want to post the small sample of his work, i will believe more you if you post, becuase this will show you dont have nothing to hide, dont worry i will not post anything that you had PM me becuase that will be rude.
