What can we do to stop others from stealing our pages and put it up on their site to trigger duplicate content penalty?

I was looking @ my stats a few days ago and noticed that someone ran a web copier software against one of my sites.

Actually it's been going on since the day one of NU competition. During this competition my Nigritude Ultramarine site has been under siege about three times more often than usually. IMO it tells a lot about the state of SEO in general. No wonder Google and other SE's are aiming BIG guns against SEO.

Most popular web copiers use spiders to crawl the sites to download the pages. These do get logged but browser emulating copiers do not.

I believe that this nigritude ultramarine will be of great help to Google to sort out Blackhats latest techniques. It is good that someone with the know-how was willing to share the techniques. Hopefully we can all learn from this and cleanup this mess. Only thing I am concerned about is what the changes Google will apply will do to our sites current rankings. It took me long enough to get my sites back from Florida/Austin.
