Needed: Google Analytics Instructor
Okay, this is not for me or my company, but for the company of a long-time friend of mine. He works for an executive training firm, and one of their clients (a web development company, I believe) wants classes in this subject.
So not only do you need to know Google Analytics inside and out, you need to be able to TEACH it, to a classroom of (probably at least somewhat tech savvy) adult professionals.
Yes, you will be paid, transportation as well as salary I expect. My friend's company is based in Florida; I believe the class will be held there as well, but I don't know the full details. This is a reputable company, so while you won't get rich from this, you can expect decent pay; they also teach higher-level computer classes, among other things.
I apologize for the sketchiness of this. My friend asked me to post this for him because he knows I'm more familiar with this field than he is...so you might say I'm the gatekeeper. PM me with your background if you're interested (either for yourself or the sake of someone else who would be qualified to teach this). I'll give you further details then, including my friend's email address so you can contact him.
One other thing: I'll probably be heading out at one PM today; I'll be here all day Friday though.

I can't help you with a trainer, but are you or your friend familiar with this link?
Great informative e-learning video's about Google Analytics from their own kitchen. It is used for studying for the Analytics exam, so very thorough from beginning to the end.
Employees could watch them at their own leisure and at their own tempo and learn a lot for free, without a teacher.
Interested employees would have a firmer understanding of analytics and could ask more effective questions during a real training, without wasting time on the basics and not having enough time to digest and come up with interesting questions about more advanced topics.
The worth of a good trainer would rise enormously, if the students come well prepared.

gee....I wonder what First Class from Toronto to Fl would cost...
best of luck on that Terri....but while I do think that the G online source is a great place to start, after teaching at college myownself for almost 20 years, I KNOW that the in-person type of workshop is just that much better, eh!

This is a serious, legitimate offer Jim...if you're interested, PM me and I'll give you some details and put you in touch with Andy. (No, I don't know how much they'll cover for travel expenses or exactly how much they pay, but you can always ask Andy).

Oh gosh, Terri...thanks for the faith...but I'm too too busy to even think about considering any such a contract...PLUS...I'm a canuck and all my exp and skillSet variables are canadian based (tho I don't think there's much of a diff) so you'd best be looking at a US guy/gal. That all said, what about europa? know of his work and he's dang fine, as would visio be too...oh hell, I can't even think about all the guys I know here and shouldn't even be mentionning any other names..
Besides ( ) the client doesn't have my daily minimum of $2500 (our hourly is $300 US) plus all exp and yes, FC travel too...
Jim
PS hey, how about JSteele or Philip, both MODs and pretty good - fact damn good...eh?

I'd have absolutely no qualms about any of the folks you mentioned, Jim (and I may do some PMing later today, depending on how busy things get). I was just a little hesitant to go directly to PMs.
