So you're saying that eastern cultures by nature believe:

• Posting etiquette doesn't matter?
• Shown knowledge doesn't matter?
• Shown skill sets doesn't matter?
• Shown experience doesn't matter?
• Reputation doesn't matter?
• Informed decision-making for clientele is unimportant?
• And a learning environment isn't important -- forums are only here for eastern cultured to post "hire me" posts?

EGOL questions are valids - mine 'was' mostly BS.

Be that as it may... why not post volumes of inform content that show posting etiquette, knowledge, skill sets, experience, that builds your reputation, allowing informed decision-making for those that do wish to outsource in a place that is a learning environment?

I never mentioned EGOL's questions were invalid. And to your questions - if these SEO guys are working for somebody then they are doing what their bosses have asked to do.

And if they are doing it for themselves, they probably have learned SEO techniques and are out to just get clients - forget asking questions.

What are fourms for? Very trivial question - can be for anything, simple discussions to "hire me" posts!

And no eastern cultures do not believe any of your points by nature - although it may seem so - you are generalizing almost 1/3 world's population.

And talking of informative content, etc etc etc - attitude is - contact me because I will charge you 1/5 or 1/10 fees of what American SEOs will and they do get lots of clients - talk of quality of work and all your arguements - very few businessmen pay attention (and those who do pay attention only they have good ongoing websites). I have seen brochureware website optimized whereas the owner of the business does not even understand ROI from SEO but they spend money because it is only $499 to list # 1 in Google - they may not say that the keyword it lists # 1 for is searched only 10 times a year.

Arguement to my last statement - morally it is wrong, ethically it is wrong - well, they are out there to make money and honestly from my point of view - they are not doing anything wrong it is the businessmen who didn't research well - you see, a cyclical arguement

I understand this. Same as door to door sales or telemarket in the US. The boss wants to flood the area with agents.

Constructively if an aspiring SEO wants work - adding a banner will provide more return by the fact that it is "unsolicited"... 100% absolute no interference from other SEO!

That my point. Without solid reputation "here" by weight of your informative dialog [e.g. none] - I guarantee when I see those "hire me" posts -- you will have the risk of me say "can't be trusted".

[not you specifically - the posters believing that the learning environment is their personal client meat wagon - and they don't need to give anything back].

If the professionals that post quality dialog "leave" and never come back... and all that is left are the wolves lying in wait for their unsuspecting prey - the information value drops, and ranks follow soon after, and the output is less meat for the wolves!

Bottom line on this... "Hire me" posters are either....

A) incompetent and if they post here their true value will be clearly seen

B) motivated strictly by the possibility of grabbing a client

I conclude "A" for most of them. As they largely use free email accounts; have poor grammar and spelling; disrespect the rules of the forum by including links in their posts.

I've been reading this forum longer than most and can honestly say that I have never seen a person that I would pay to do work on my site or for consultation (and I have paid a few members her for those services) make a "Hire me!" posting.

I would say both.

Mandeep dont take it bad but in this goodoleboy forum if your from a third world country u wont get the same handshake most of the time from most people. Im learning this the hard way here. Actually it makes sense since they need to keep these seo's from third world countries supressed so they can still outsource their work to them at direct cheap prices and force them to sign non disclosure aggreements.
When my casino site is at the top im gonna make sure to build some outsourceing site where they get a fair shake. Im sick of this stuff.

You really have the wrong perspective.

I don't post "hire me" - I help the member (whomever that is) and "THEY" ask privately for services.

That's the value of forums.

If you really think that the business world in general is going to knock down your door because your knowledge, skills, and experience in a carefully guarded secret... that line of thinking was obsolete in 2000.

Interesting enough EGOL doesn't do SEO for others "PERIOD"... and I will never use a NDA unless they paid dearly for it.
