LOL - is he still wearing those? And what about the rand wannabes? Dozens of pairs of yellow shoes showing on SES, I presume...
Yea man: The only reason I didn't go to NY for the conference was that I was worried about being blinded.![]()

Thanks
Thanks guys:
I've now contacted big G for both the Feb05 email basis and their spam email method. We will see if they respond.

Three days later. Haven't heard from Google. Any of you guys have experience in their response time?:-?

Dave, it sounds to me like you need to get a lawyer on the case. It's either copyright infringement (if they are still publishing your original content on their site), or possibly defamation/libel depending upon what they have published in response. Either way, you need to get an attorney on the case IMO. This is not Google's problem.
Thanks Bernard, we are also getting our attorney on this deal.![]()
Dave
yeah i don't think contacting google/yahoo/msn will really do much. A friendly letter with an attorny's letterhead usually does it. Make sure you get it signed for as proof that it was delivered if your attorney decides to go that route.
Well the "person" (sort of sub-human) removed the offending page. My partner niced him through email but also let him know we were going through an attorney.
We didn't realize this but this person had resented me for 2 years. His spammy attack allowed him to get a page on the web that enabled him to rank high for our keywords but he changed our company name from Professional to NON-Professional. He had this little attack on the page that attacked me and the company.
Thanks for all the comments and advice. Very helpful.
Next time I'd go to an attorney immediately!
Dave
I have the same problem with my ex employer.
He registered a domain name just to try and destroy our business.
Do a whois on underdogseo.com to find the culprit. You will be surprised at who it is.
Underdog, have you tried to solve it yet using communication, maybe a little give-and-take?
Only go for an attorney if you can convince him/her (as in: prove) that the slander is in fact slander and not fact.
I agree that this evil webpage copying is not a nice thing to do, and if paired with truly bad intentions even illegal.
