Looking to hire SEO pro

Hello SEO Chat members and professionals!


Currently our company North Atlantic, is looking to hire a SEO pro to help us better optimize and set us in the right direction marketing wise.

We are a rare coin and bullion company and currently have another outside company that does the optimization for us. We pay $1400 every 3 months (quarter). I dont know if that is a lot, or cheap...I dont know?

They haven't done the best of jobs for us, and we are looking to go in another direction. We have 1000's of products on our website, and get order sporatically but we are looking to go in another direction internet marketing wise.

Why are you getting 600 visitors a day but tons of ppl to 'keith richards' and 'billy joel'? DIdn't think they had conis.
How old are the sites, what's the new direction/goals, what about keywords?

That is a very cheap price, and probably the biggest indicator to why they're not doing such a good job for you.

As far as SEO comes, I am green! I really know little to nothing about it.

Well the sites are 5+ years old. We moved servers a few months ago so past stats are gone.

As far as Keith Richards and Billy Joel, I dont know why. We are 110% not optimized for that, but we do have there autographs up for sale on the site.

As far as direction and goals pertain, we are looking for more targeted vistors. People that come to the site that want to buy, and are not just sent there for the sake of being sent there. We basically want COIN COLLECTORS to come to the site, not just any visitor.

As far as keywords, we have a few in mind. If you mean keywords for using in google adwords, we do not want to use such BROAD terms like "Morgan Dollar" it would cost us $thousands$ a month in click fees. But specific rare coins such as:

Hi, nice to meet a new spammer. You know what happens when a idiot spams the forums? His sites importance/reputation crashes through the floor. Whenever we see that site in the future we say oh yeah we know who owns that. I will never deal with a site that resorts to forum spamming.
