Frequently Asked http://www.frequentlyasked.info #1 in Google out of 257,000,000 pages.
The number of pages is meaningless - all that means (in this example) is there are 0.257 billion pages in Google that use "frequently" and/or "asked" on the page but the context could be very different. Additionally, the value of the phrase is highly suggestive... in the above example ZERO traffic has come from that phrase even though the domain is #1 in all 3 search engines... (good for show & tell for those without any thought to asking "how much do you convert"?) The point is - guaging SEO service quality on mere numbers is meaningless to the value you get for whatever money you pay - you will get "had" more often than not. |

I know I should look for number of impressions and then the whole convert issue. The meanning I mentioned it because I do a competative term plus I had people before calling me showing me their result on the first page of G/Y with 1,200,000 results.
I don't dig that. My KW has 100,000,000 so I just wanted to be on the safe side here - that's all. |

Well in practice "volume" terms don't mean volume sales. Normally to achieve 'the volume terms' is costly (one way of the other) whether you hired a top-notch service or go through a few cheaper ones that don't produce. IN any case... get a volume of quotes with references and work history and then forward if you wish and will recommend out of your list 'my pick'... that isn't any guarantee that you will produce your desirable return - but a sight bit better than using "...against X page numbers" as quantifiable evidence to achieve the desirable effect. |

That is very true djstreet. I put a lot of effort in SEO for a long time now and I had the chance to work on major projects BUT my nature is always to strive for more & better.
Your idea is great and it crossed my mind but I feel it'll be as hard to find a mentor as an SEO pro. Would you be interested (PM me if yes)? |

Visio is referencing handsomeabhi.
1. no shown skills or experience noted at the board to guage professionalism - just "hire me". 2. missing that - no website to appreciate service offerings, credibility, current track record, client testimonials, or references. 3. It is suggested in other threads (20 SEOs) with superb stats of almost any phrase in top 10 in all search engines... course in light of #1 and #2 - why all the secrecy... (all 20 should be here offering insights into the knowledge, skills, experience, etc. since it would go a long way to gaining potential client trust... (maybe they are here and doing this... but all I see is "hire me... we're SO GOOD!" 4. Bearing #1-3 in mind - the suggestive approach is like "cold-calling" - or: Catch them quick and dirty, before they can actually make an informed choice - and once they have the money - too bad. That MAY or MAY NOT be true - but from my vantagepoint SEOChat is a learning environment not a private SEO meat wagon. In any case - to be fully informed take handsomeabhi up on his offer and once you have the details (and before you move forward) please share your findings so we can all be "enlightened" by their professional abilities.
