Looking for an SEO consultant
I have used several SEO companies and have always been very dissapointed in the results. I am tired of paying several thousand dollars up front and a monthly fee and not seeing any work or improvement being done. Our companies site is pretty well ranked but we are also spending several thousand dollars a month on advertising on Google and Overture.
I am looking for an individual to do monthly consulting on our web site including optimization, ad copy, design ideas, and anything else that will help with optimization. Our web address is www.medipro.com. If you are someone with a proven record, mainly with Google, MSN and Yahoo, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss what you can do for us. Thanks. |

Honestly I don't see any real problems. I would dump the links pages and add a factual directory - easier to manage and "self submission" is a big plus when the links on the page are "only" of a specific topic or region]. Add an article/news center Hire a part-time student and send them here to learn the best attributes for link exchanges and develop the directory. Hire a professional copywriter for articles. Get volumes of testimonials from clients will help alot as well, and third party reviews - which is even better for conversions. Look for newsworthy 'angles' and when you find something you can capitalize on... hire a press agent and get it into a wire service [not the web-based ones they are pretty much useless]. While there are some SEO improvements no amount of optimization is going to fix the lackluster of content there simply isn't enough pages that are "meaningful" to search engines. Thus the articles, news, press, testaments, even a staff blog will do much more than a "SEO" can do [even with link development - your site isn't likely to go anywhere fast - without investing in solid, continuous copywriting. And sorry highsky767 - but a first time poster with services is to be avoided particular when their only posted credential is "hire me". Share some of your insights publicly - you'll do better.
