I need recommendations for SEO for Hire…
Hi,
I am in need of a good company or individual that can help me with SEO for Google, MSN, and Yahoo. They need to have a good amount of experience with good to great results. They need to be completely trust worthy and never have actually hurt a site with their SEO techniques – as I do not want to have to worry about hurting or getting my site banned from search engines because of something they do. Their fees must be worth what they can do and their results. They must also be able to provide referrals and results from previous work. Does anyone have any recommendations that match these criteria? Thank you all in advance for your help. -Dave Last edited by CheatCC : October 17th, 2006 at 10:36 AM. |

Some concerns:
Quote:
That's a difficult one since "good" to "great" is suggestive of numerous things, industry competitiveness, terms used, current assets of these website as opposed what needs to be developed (or not)... none of this is likely directly proportional to your current 'unranked site' (unranked defined as "that can help me with SEO for Google, MSN, and Yahoo" rather than "we already have good to great ranks but need someone to maintain". Quote:
How "exactly" will you determine this trustworthy "completely"? In my experience most people scammed by others naturally assumed "trustworthy"... since it is unlikely they knew "untrustworthy" but says "what the heck"! Quote:
You know for years I provided referrals - and never was one called or emailed [hint] Get numerous... don't commit to any, and then get numerous 3rd party reviews on each. Since they came from here (assumed only here) review their posts... surely a professional will share some insights to bolster their credibility. Hey Fathom,
My site is already ranked (PR6) and well established (we have been around since 1997) -- it is www.cheatcc.com. My rankings have dropped for some keywords recently but are still doing pretty well for others. I want to increase my rankings for certain keywords I use to rank good for and start ranking better for keywords I have not ranked too well for. I also would like to maintain my good rankings for keywords I do well for now. Do you have any recommendations? Thanks! -Dave |

The more you say - the better we understand! Might be worth watching this thread... someone with industry experience will almost always be better than not: http://forums.seochat.com/search-engine-optimization-28/what-industry-you-guys-girls-in-107077.html |

Hi Dave: I am just surfing around SEO chat and I had to comment on your post. WAY back when I first started my seo thing - I was here saying the exact same thing. I was willing to throw thousands of dollars at it just so I didn't have to learn - something - else. I quicky realized I would have to: 1. Trust someone I did not know 2. Take advice from people I did not trust because I did not know them 3. Give people I did not know or trust full access to my website 4. Learn enough about SEO to know if someone was blowing smoke up my skirt 5.Take the chance that someone would get me banned because I wanted results 6. Realize that if they did get me banned - they had my money and I had a banned website and zero recourse. So - by the time I realized all of these things - I knew enough about SEO and the right way to do it myself....just because I was learning how to protect myself from the people I did not trust because I did not know them. Just a thought............

IMO the biggest risk is that they sniff your GREAT idea and go into competition against you.

Hi Dave! This actually sounds like an interesting project. I've had my web developer, Sean Saulnier get in touch with you via direct email through your site. We just recently hired him from IGN, another major gaming site, where he ran their seo campaigns to get them to the top for many lucractive keywords. If you have any questions you can contact myself or Sean for more info. |
