Search Engine Optimization Specialist (SEO) Specialist

The Search Engine Optimization Specialist will be working in our Web Development Department, and will be responsible for optimizing numerous web sites for Search Engines and maximizing conversions.

This position requires 3-6 years of web/internet experience and a proven record of website optimization. Excellent written and verbal skills are imperative.

Our SEO Specialist must have 3 years working experience in the following areas:

• Search Engine placement
• Search Engine spider behavior
• Understanding CMS pages, dynamic or database driven content and
• Knowledge of Pay per click and pay for placement techniques
• Motivated to research and keep up with ever-changing Search Engine standards
• Ability to write keyword rich text and persuasive marketing text
• Ability to analyze web pages for HTML errors, web site usability
• HTML Code, Meta Tags, Title Tags, Key Words
• Working knowledge of tools such as Word Tracker, HTML validators, keyword analyzers

Candidate should also have the following skills and abilities:

• Strong analytical skills and detail orientation
• Independent, motivated, and self-managed
• Ability to handle a fast paced changing work environment and heavy client load.
• Exceptional grammar and vocabulary skills.
